Test Cheating Game
Here's one my students would love. A game dedicated to cheating in tests. Very nice little concept, you copy your friends work while avoiding the teachers line of sight. The authors grasp of English is not too hot but it's a fun, rewarding game to explore.
I'm currently at the Henningan level.

Crappy 8-bit imitation
Diarrhea Dan is a silly flash effort made in the style of a Spectrum game. Dan must try and find a toilet before his bowels explode or something, by testing out each o the toilet and earning a sheet of paper for answering multiple choice questions right. It's certainly quite likely that some mug paid 1.99 for a game half as entertaining as this once upon a time.

Dangerously Addictive Game Alert
Squares 2 is one of those crack cocaine like games that you play in very short bursts but come out wanting more. Its very simple (as these things inevitably are). Guide your black square with your mouse to collect other black squares and powerups (black circles), avoiding the red squares and powerdowns (red circles).
My current record stands at 103 collected, and no I can't remember what score that was.
On a geeky techno lovers note I love the way the music throbs in game-over mode, the jumps into highhat-enhanced life on resumption of gameplay.

Cool Stuff For Cool Dads
For Dads is a nice simple site with links to cool stuff you can teach your kids. Could be handy though of course it does seem to assume that your kid will be a boy (which on current thinking from the Doc. ours is not)

Lego-Tastic
LEGO.com Make and Create Activites - Junkbot
Excellent little shockwave game that requires some thought. You play a robot who has to pick up all the junk in a factory and you have to move lego blocks to help him acheive this...gets vey complex in later stages.

My current favourite is the manic Rocket Mania. I thoroughly recommend any of the games off this site...but make sure you haven't got anything important to do.

Multiplayer Online Boggle
Now this is addictive. Boggle is that great word game where you have to find as many word chains in a grid within a set amount of time. I always used to kick my family's arse at this when we played back home, however this is th internet and now I frequently come bottom.

Where's My Mouse Gone
It's the weekend and the blogosphere is in possesion of it's hottests source of entertainment and hillarity, yes the B3ta newsletter. Check this annoying little game. Guide your mouse through a maze without touching the walls. Easy? Um..no cos the mouse is invisible. Great concept though.

The Scarecrow Game
The Skeleton Shop's Scarecrow Game is one of the most original games I have seen in ages, and is immensely playable too. You must flick seeds to hit the scarecrows which are being destroyed by the marauding ravens. When you hit a scarecrow it will come alive and shoo the birds away. The animation is monochome but beautiful, and the whole mood is very haunting.

Film Noire Adventure Game
A fun pointy clicky type adventure game in the Monkey Island vein. Kept me busy for a good hour this Sunday afternoon. Nice Film Noire style, with overtones of crabs.
